TAMTAM objektentheater is an internationally touring theatre company that produces visual theatre performances since 1979.
They make image based theatre without text. A very personal and perculiar style of objectheatre in which objects, images, sound and music, light, video and inventive stage-technology tell the story.
Gérard Schiphorst and Marije van der Sande are the founders, artists and performers.
With their work they travelled to theatres and festivals in 23 countries, where they are well known for their esthetic style, absurd but subtle humour and originality.
Next to theatre they are also active in writing, music, video and plastic art. Some of it already appears on this site. In their workshop in Deventer they produce theatre and art and receive groups for special performances workshops and masterclasses.
